Treatment Approach/Philosophy: My approach to counseling and therapy is dependent upon client need. I prefer to tailor my approach to meet the specific needs of those seeking my services. I prefer empowerment theory, as I believe each of us is capable of making positive changes in our lives by making different and healthier choices. My hope is to empower clients to take action to change their lives, as I believe they are the best change agents available in the helping process. Because helping is a dynamic process, so is my approach to counseling and therapy. It is for that reason that I utilize my ability to make critical and accurate assessments throughout the course of therapy. I am an honest person that fosters authentic (open, honest, and pure) communication by treating each person with compassion, dignity, and respect, and I welcome the opportunity to assist you in any way I can.
