Treatment Approach/Philosophy: I approach people from a humanistic stance, honoring their uniqueness, strengths, personal styles, and ways of making their lives meaningful and making sense of their problems. I see the therapeutic relationship as the primary vehicle for positive change (although I apply problem-solving and other techniques as necessary), and value a collaborative and appropriately challenging approach to the therapeutic encounter.
