Student Intern at WPIC Outpatient Anxiety Disorder Clinic in Pittsburgh.  Worked with OCD patients on behavioral exposures, using Exposure with Response Prevention techniques. Also worked with Generalized Anxiety Disorder/ Panic Disorder and Social Anxiety clients in groups.

Treatment Approach/Philosophy: I work with adults, adolescents, and children, on an individual and/ or family basis.  I also run a weekly overeaters recovery group and am planning to startup a weekly anorexia/ bulimia recovery group.  I use evidence-based treatment procedures, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).  I also use the Maudsley Method for treating eating disorders with younger clients, working with families to provide psycho education on eating disorders and develop behavioral plans to help clients meet treatment goals.  I work closely with the client’s treatment team, maintaining regular contact with medical care providers and registered dietitians.   My caring and supportive manner is balanced with a challenging and motivating style to help clients successfully meet their treatment goals.
