Treatment Approach/Philosophy: My approach is strengths-based, solution-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. I also incorporate reality, problem-solving and client-centered models. My goal is to facilitate the client’s understanding of the mind-body connection utilizing mindfulness, self-care, relaxation and guided imagery techniques to help the client achieve balance and empowerment. I believe the ethical therapeutic relationship is paramount, and I practice from a stance that every individual has a unique capacity for positive change and personal growth.
